Liz began her career in fitness training and coaching shortly after running her first marathon at age 40. Until then she was in the field of finance and accounting, and an involved community member raising her three children. She had been active her entire life, playing soccer, lacrosse, tennis, swimming, skiing, and golf, so moving into the field of fitness training was a natural transition.
She developed a passion for helping others reach their fitness goals after she began training other runners for races, from 5k’s to marathons. In 2005, she became a Certified Personal Trainer and worked in a brand new, state of the art, fitness facility in Memphis, TN. It was there that her love for supporting, teaching and guiding clients of all ages and fitness levels was solidified. In 2006, she became a Certified Group Fitness Instructor and brought her commitment and enthusiasm to the group fitness arena. She then became a certified Les Mills’ Instructor in Body Pump in 2007 and a R.I.P.P.E.D. certified instructor in 2013. Liz currently teaches indoor cycling, pilates/core, strength training and instructs at various locations in the greater Concord area.
